Pastor Kevin has been pastoring this church since 2012. Pastor Kevin is from Covington, Indiana. He grew up with two brothers and 1 sister, along with his parents attended the Baptist Church in Covington. At the age of 14 he gave his heart to the Lord. After graduating from high school, he attended Marion College/Indiana Wesleyan University (a Wesleyan Methodist College) where he studied Physical Education.
Between Pastor Kevin and his wife, Donna, they have 2 daughters, Lindsay and Courtney and 1 son, Robert and 6 grandchildren, Alexa, Alyssa, Chance, Erika Leigh, Evelyn and Hayes.
Pastor Kevin's heart is in meeting the needs of the community, world missions, and telling everyone he meets how much God loves them.
Pastor Kevin does love to go fishing and golfing when he gets the chance.
Donna is Pastor Kevin's wife of 23 years. She is from Kansas City, Kansas and grew up attending Shawnee Assembly of God in Shawnee, Kansas where at the age of 12 she gave her life to the Lord.
She has been involved in the music ministry since she was a young girl when she and her dad would sing in church with her dad playing his guitar. Donna has been in the choir and on the worship team in several churches. Her heart is for women's ministries and music. Donna is currently involved with the worship team and the media team here at Crossroads, but steps in wherever she is needed.
Donna loves to cook, sew and make flower arrangements. But most of all she loves serving the Lord.
Staff and Ministries
Keith and Cathy Childs have 50 years between them serving the Lord. They are both very active in the church, Keith shares the responsibilities of Wednesday night bible study. Cathy gives the weekly announcements every Sunday morning.
Keith is a part time bus driver and a locksmith and owns a local dealership of Lake O' Cargolifts. Cathy is the director of rehab for Gensis Rehab services at Laurie Cate Center and is a physical therapist. Both Keith and Cathy have several hobbies but most of all they love the Lord.
Honoring the Lord through true worship and surrender is what Deb has desired to do for the past 30 years as she has been a part of music ministry in a variety of settings and churches. She is originally from New Mexico and has resided in Missouri since 2001. She and her husband, Mike, have two grown children and one still at home growing! Deb is an elementary school teacher and loves to teach math. She enjoys being outside enjoying God's creation through hiking and gardening. Deb also has a knack for sewing and crafts (when she has time of course).
Nancy has been saved for 34 years and going strong. Nancy is our Wednesday evening worship leader, is heavily involved in our women's ministries, is an intercessor to prayer and is on the missions committee. She loves to play piano and sing in the church.
Bob has also been saved for 34 years. He is on the administrative board as well as a deacon in the church. Bob is a Sunday School teacher and a Wednesday night worship leader with his wife Nancy.
Bob is retired and enjoys the sport of golfing and working for the Lord.
Margie was born and raised in the church. She is married with two sons and 1 grandchild.She works part time at Lake Dog and Cat as the office manager and part time as Church secretary and missions director. She enjoys her time at the church and loves the Lord.
Mark was born and still is Jewish, but he converted to Christianity and is now considered a messianic Jew. Mark has been saved now for 22 years. He is a deacon in the church, enjoys playing guitar on the worship team and directing the church security team.
Mark is a veterinarian and owner of Lake Dog and Cat in Laurie. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and he loves the Lord.
